Aaron is the founder and director of Blackbird Law

Aaron was admitted to practice in 2011, and has since practiced law across a range of industries, and for a variety ofclients. This breadth provides him with a unique perspective on issues andsolutions. In his 15 years, Aaron has worked in private practice and as part of in-house legal teams.

This variety of experience has shaped his vision for Blackbird Law – an agile firm of smart people working with technology to deliver precisionand results.

Experience

A snap-shot of Aaron's recent experience is set out below:

• Providing project delivery advice and assistance for a large construction contractor engaged as part of the decommissioning of various onshore and offshoreinfrastructure facilities in Australia and internationally.
• Acting for a hydraulic engineer in Supreme Court of New South Wales Proceedings arising from alleged defects in the design and construction of a "mixeduse" building in Sydney.
• Advising a large construction contractor on its rights and recovery under insurance policies for alleged loss and damage suffered by a contracting party during the delivery of a large property development project.
• Assisting in the negotiation, drafting, and risk analysis of a design and construct subcontract package for an electrical engineer  relating to a Commonwealth Government project.
